Over the past decade, embroiderers from different walks of life have contributed to the repopularization of the traditional Armenian art form. Originally used as a narrative canvas to illustrate stories and beliefs, traditional Armenian embroidery now stands as a tangible symbol of identity and heritage. Every meal, down to all of its ingredients, has its own story. For restaurant owner and chef Josh Crowe, that story is at the heart of every dish he creates. Crowe curates a seasonal menu for his restaurant working hand in hand with local producers and farmers.
